Flash foam stamp pad
Pioneer of stamp material
In 1994, we launched our pre-inked stamp material with an innovative stamp making system at the marking devices exhibition in France. Since then, for almost 30 years, we have been a pioneer in production of pre-inked stamps in global stamp industry, providing cutting-edge technologies. Today, we supply Flash Foam for the Flash machine to the world’s leading stamp manufacturers and have established ourselves as a top quality PE stamp material (known as “Flash Text Plate” or “Flash Stamp Pad”) for the production of high resolution stamps. All of our products are manufactured in our own factory in Japan under strict quality control. We will continue to challenge ourselves to develop further to meet the needs of our customers.
Features
| Yamahachi Chemical’s “Flash foam” Flash stamp pads are made from PE (polyethylene).
The smooth surface enables the processing of fine, high-resolution designs such as photographs and fine text, and provides excellent continuous stamping performance. Even after long-term use, the surface retains its quality without warping. |

How the printing face is processed
Our PE sheets are mainly used as the printing face material in pre-inked stamp production with the Flash Stamp Making Machine, a desktop system that uses infrared heat. Because the face can be processed at low temperature, the system is straightforward to introduce and run on a production line.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right item number?
Choose by the size and thickness of your stamp. We offer four grey grades from FC16R at 1.6 mm through to FC4R at 4.0 mm, plus the blue grades MP3R and MP4R. Tell us your application and we will suggest a suitable item number.
Which inks can it be used with?
Flash stamp ink, which is an oil-based pigment ink. The open-cell polyethylene is solvent resistant and works with a wide range of solvents. Its ink absorption and retention allow stable repeated stamping without a stamp pad.
Can it reproduce photographs and fine text?
Yes. The surface is smooth and fine, so it handles high-resolution designs including photographs, fine text and gradations. The printing face is processed with the Flash Stamp Making Machine, a desktop system that uses infrared heat.
