With over 45 years of expertise in porous plastic technology since 1977, Yamahachi Chemical provides solutions that support our customers’ product development based on our core technology in porous plastics.
Conventional porous manufacturing technologies often struggle with complex shapes, partial surface processing, and specialised functions such as controlled liquid dispensing. We help our customers overcome these challenges by developing porous materials tailored to their products. We work closely with customers through trials, and sample evaluation to develop porous materials that meet their specific requirements.
Open-cell porous plastics are engineered polymer materials with interconnected pore structures that enable controlled fluid flow, absorption, and dispensing. Yamahachi Chemical manufactures porous plastics primarily from polyethylene (PE), used in applications such as writing instruments, stamp pads, and fluid control systems.
What makes Yamahachi’s porous materials different?
