Yamahachi Porous, open cell porous material, which is made mainly from plastic, has the ability to absorb and retain liquids such as oil and ink. It has the function of applying the absorbed liquid to the objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike regular felt, it is hydrophobic and does not absorb water and generates low dust. So the use of the material is expanding being used in fields other than Consumer goods, such as porous material of lubricating for mechanical equipment with oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yamahachi propose porous materials suitable for each customer’s product and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Text, photo images and patterns even small dots can be processed on the surface of our porous material. After absorbing liquids such as oil and ink, the processed patterns will be transferred with the liquid onto surface of the objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dot pattern processing offers the purpose like applying small amounts of liquid like lubricating oil onto the surface.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Basic performance of Yamahachi porous is to allow air, gas, ink and oil to pass through, but partial functions can be added by processing the surface of the material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the surface of the material is processed, the processed parts becomes a layer that does not allow ventilation or liquid to pass through (B). And unprocessed parts remains a porous structure (C) which allows ventilation or liquid to pass through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inner layer remains as open cell porous structure (A) allowing ventilation and liquid to pass through. It is possible to process entire surface and\/or partially on any part of the surface.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
